Knight Templars are 'Christian Masons' who function to Feed the hungry, Cloth the Naked and defend the Christian Religion. Not an easy task in society today. To do this each Knight undertakes the personal responsibility of relating his personal beliefs when asked, to show his faith in his daily life and to work diligently to help those in need, when they come to his knowlege.
Although now meeting in a new place, the Knights of Howell #28, will continue our 150 year tradition of serving those in need. We meet monthly on the First Monday at 700 pm, often having a pot luck meal with the Ladies of our Auxiliary.
Before becoming a Knight, each man must first reach and maintain the degrees of Master Mason and Royal Arch Mason. Once achieved he may petition to receive the order of knighthood, Most Masons plaudit these orders as the most beautiful and comprehensive travels of any Masonic journey.
